Santa Ema Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

The Wine
Region: Maipo Valley, Chile
Vineyards: Santa Ema
Grapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Oak: 9 months in French Oak.
Price: $10.

Tasting Notes
Look: It is dark purple.
Smell: Fruity.  Smells a little like rubbing alcohol.
Attack: Fruity, plum and cherry? (prune and cherry, apparently)
Evolution: Dry, subtle/mild flavor.
Finish: Smooth, leaves you wanting some more, slightly salty?

We liked it.  We'll buy it again (and the Merlot from the same Winery).  Like the Merlot, we used half this bottle in making Boeuf a la Bourguignonne.  SMELLS SO GOOD!
